| Well just for the record college is cool, but over the summer the food sucks, not gonna lie (you can take that to the bank...) Lets just say that every day I should be thanking God for the people who decided to make cereal. But even with how amazing cereal is, it does get old when you have it at most meals. I should probably throw in here that i only technically eat two meals in a day...
See most of the time i work from 10:00 to 6:30. Now i am not about to wake up early enough to go eat before 8:00 (that's when the caff closes), so i eat cereal that i have in my room for breakfast. Now at 10:30 the kids who aren't gonna work the night shift at work go eat. (i'm not usually hungry, but i won't get to eat until after 6:30, so i have to eat something in order not to starve). I usually have cereal cuz it's still morning and lunch food is not appealing at the moment. The caff closes dinner at 6:00, and i get off at 6:30... So after work we all go hang at some fast food place. Nothing usually looks good there, (and it costs money) so i frequently go back to my room and have, you guessed it, cereal. To make a long story short, i was way excited cuz we all headed up to Apple bees after work (at like 10:40) and ate. It was REAL food! i never realized how much i take real food for granted. It's amazing.
Summary... I love cereal, it is my hero and i would starve without it. Having real food everyonce and a while is amazing!
p.s. ok so for all you ppl out there adding up the nutritional value of cereal and thinking that my diet is rather lacking, i will admit that my post slightly exaggerates my total dependence on cereal. I can add to my main diet a 32 oz cherry slushy from Cody's... there cheap, and it's like 30 sec away from college. I also have yogurt in my room that i eat frequently. Occasionally at lunch, the fruit is good, or a deli sandwich looks good. But my main diet is cereal and slushies.

| Well Dani told me i should try to start my xanga back up, and Kelly and Emily have been telling me that for a while so.... here we go
I am at college working the 2nd 6 week program. So far i like it I work in the restaurant and the Keeter Center. Yeah, that sums it all up... lots of really fun new ppl... Well that is good for a start, it's late and i need to go to bed.

| hey all!
so i haven't actually been on here that much since i have rejoined... i'm pathetic. so anywho, state speech was way fun.
so friday night kelly laura and i rolled down the hill. it was fun. you pick up quite a bit of speed when you do, so you end up more "bouncing down the hill" then there were some rocks on the hill so you ended up bouncing down on rocks. it was funny. *chuckles* yeah and the world wasn't exactly spinning, but it definantely was solid feeling. :laughs:
then i got my first warning. now as i am sure most of you know, there is one stop light in Geneva. so at night when there is no one around i always want to treat it like a stop sign. i stop look both ways, and go. yeah, so i have only actually done that once, ok twice now... but i almost do it all the time. so anyway yeah i did that, and there was a cop, and he pulled me over. he was nice, and just gave me a warning. i think he realized that i was completely freaked. the funny part is everyones reactions. matt and alex who were waiting for us a thte park, and could see us were like "what the heck, BETSY got pulled over?" Miaka's parents said the same thing. he dad was like "are we talking about the same Betsy?" i guess everyone just can't see me actually do anything bad, which i find funny. true, but amusing as that is everyones opinion. well luv ya all!

| hey all!!!!!!
wow it's been awhile... i tried out myspace, but to be honest it's kinda lmae. you just leave random things on ppl site. on xanga we at least had intersting conversations. not to mention myspace is huge. everyone and there dog add's you, so then they are a "friend," but you never really actually comment. i don't know, but i miss xanga, so i am joining the xanga world again. it feels smaller again, like you can put stuff, and the world won't read it. they have the ability to, but don't. so yes my insanity has returned... the random pointless posts that probably amuse me more than anyone else are back! lets see how long i last 
so random story for today:
i sang at a wedding this past saturday. well the bathtub dogs concert got canceled, so Matt and i decided we should all get together and play a game. well i was at the reception (where Lacy, Nancy Jo's grand daughter, and i were stealing the kisses from other ppl's tables.. bwahhh! the cherry filled were the best ) well i look at my phone, and matt has called me several times. well i am figuring that means that i should go quick call him. so i go outside, without my coat, cuz well... i just was to lazy to grab it, and i figured it would quick. so i talk to matt real quick (we are all going to Cody's) and i am about to go inside cuz i am way cold my in sleeveless dress, when all of a sudden the grooms brother comes up to me and says i sang really well. well before you know it were in a conversation. now this is how this looks, a man probably in his late or mid 20's and myself standing outside talking, with me freezing.
so he was telling my how he and his buddies got drunk after the rehersal dinner the night before. He tried to drive home, but kept almost falling asleep, which he found funny. so i am just kinda teasing him like "gosh didn't your mom tell you to not drive while drunk?" while in the inside i am thinking "man, you so don't realize that i only just turned 17 at the begining of this month." in general it was a good conversation. he asked me how i can stand up and sing for ppl without getting nervous, to which i got to talk about how my two favorite verses in that situation. oh shoot, it's in Corinthians, but i never remember where. it's i can do all things thro CHrist who strengthens me, and them Romans 8:28 (like my fav verse ever) those together tell me i CAN do what ever concert thing it is, and that even if i mess up, it'll be ok b/c God as a plan that is for His glory which is all that matters. so i don't know, kinda an interesting conversation. but yeah we ended the conversation with him being like "but yeah we should go inside cuz you are probably freezing." to which i felt like replying "no really sherlock. but really i am fine now. i'm numb" lol, but i didn't cuz i am nice
ok so that is really long. ha, they are definately back!
